Pop star Ariana Grande sues Forever21

Pop star Ariana Grande has filed a lawsuit against the Korean clothing company Forever21 for $ 10 million.

Grande said in a complaint filed to the Federal District Court in California the day before, “Forever21 stole Grande’s name, image and music while running beauty company Riley Rose.”

Grande added that Forever21 used at least 30 images and videos without permission.

Grande added that this is a commercial use of Grande’s reputation with 65 million Twitter followers and 165 million Instagram followers.

Forever 21 is a fast clothing company founded by Jang Do-won and Jang Jin-sook. Linda and Esther Chang, the daughters of the Jang couple, have launched and run the beauty boutique Riley Rose in 2017.
